Come with me down Memory Lane, as I share a story with you about a girl named Sissy. One day, while glancing around her living room, Sissy wondered, "What is it about this place, what’s missing"? Then it came to her. It's entirely too dark in here. Then, like out of nowhere, she spotted the magazine laying on the arm of the chair. It's glossy cover was displaying a very bright colored room decked out with mahogany furniture. Then it came to her, she really needed to give her place a good decorative make-over. No wonder she was so depressed lately.
Then, thinking back, she could remember the day she was out with friends listening to music, conversation and just having fun. One of the guys started jesting and making fun of one of the other female guests. It wasn’t long before his jokes got out of hand. He actually got right down insulting. Oh, they were laughing, enjoying what they thought to be a joke. When suddenly Sissy was not only staring at the person in question, but actually began to see into the girls soul. That’s right. All of a sudden she was seeing the entire person. The girl looked sad, and afraid. Looked as if she wanted to run, escape, get away but felt trapped. As Sissy witnessed this scene, her heart dropped. What her friends thought to be a joke was actually a painful experience for the girl. Sissy began to feel the girls invisible tears, felt her hollow heartbeat, felt the girls pain. Then, she too, wanted to cry. The party was over. Sissy swore she would no longer take part in tearing someone apart just to get a laugh. Instead, she wanted to build the girl up, show some kindness, break the negative atmosphere of division. Sissy wanted to be on the other girls side. Two against a room full of individuals, intent on following one another’s pranks. As the thought of helping the girl took more of her thought process, Sissy crossed the room, introduced herself and started a friendly conversation; asking about family, home-life, school, things like that. As the Brenda ( that was her name ),accepted Sissy’s friendship, as a ray of bright light surround the girl. Then she began to relax.
Yes,it is possible to change many things. From now on, let's take a moment to Stop, Look, and Listen.

HE'S THE ONE
You walk into the Mall, just window shopping. When there, at the other end of the Video Shop, one person stands out. You try not to stare, but can't help it. Then, just like film, rolling before your very eyes, his eyes lock with yours. Too late. Now you can't turn away. "O shucks, I'm too shy to go through this trip", you say to yourself. Nevertheless, your own heart-beat speeds up to the point where you can not deny the truth. You know you want to meet him. Now what? All I know is,. I WANT TO MEET HIM.

Sometimes it's just plain wise to keep things to yourself. You meet that special person, the one who sets bells ringing in your heart. But you cannot blurt out your feelings, can't reveal a thing, because love can be very risky. Go ahead and let your true feelings show and guaranteed, you will be walking alone. Human nature
just doesn't do well when it comes to wearing your heart on your sleeve. To me it's like gambling, you win some, and you loose some. True, love can be a many splendid thing, but love can also be deadly.
I don't really know what the writer of this song had in mind, but I'll say this, 'Not on the Outside' is really nice. The lead singer is fantastic, and his back-up have really made this song something I could listen to for hours and not get tired.

Sometimes, It's Better Not To Know

Have you ever reminisced about your old friends? Laugh out loud about the things you used to do, places you used to go, wondering what's going on in their lives? Or maybe think about an old flame, that person who used to be your one and only. I tell you, the more time I spend with my Blogs, the more I began to see a picture of myself. Guess I'm just a 'Lover at Heart'. I sincerely enjoy Music, Romance, and just plain Day-Dreaming with Sound. Guess it's OK as long as I'm not pushy about my dreams. Well, all I can say right now after listening to one of my favorite oldies group (The Royaletts), is this....Music, Maestro, Please.......
